With the unique features of a Microline®️ R.O. System, the quality is evident in the finest of details, the smallest of parts, and naturally in the water. The Microline®️ R.O. System contains the patented manifold plate that directs the flow of water through each of the filtration steps. The manifold design simplifies as it enhances the system by eliminating the need for individual connections between filtration stages. The Microline®️ R.O. System; designed to produce worry-free R.O. water with less waste. When the holding tank is full, the automatic shut–off device is triggered and signals the system to automatically cease production until more water is needed. These technologies have been the secret to the the success of the Microline®️ R.O. System. With over 60 years of water treatment experience behind the Microline®️ name, there is a long-standing tradition of excellence and quality.

The Microline R.O.

Water is essential to sustain all life, but not all water is created equal. Different water can have different impurities and some of those impurities can be harmful to your health or the development of your children. Thankfully there’s a way to filter and remove impurities from your drinking water so you and your family can drink with ease. The Microline R.O. is cutting-edge technology that filters your tap water so it’s safe to drink.

How Does the Microline R.O. System Work?

What makes a Microline R.O. system work is the osmosis system itself. A semipermeable membrane contains tiny pores that are large enough to allow water molecules to pass through, but small enough to block the passage of most contaminants including ions, molecules, and particles.

But What Is Osmosis?

To understand reverse osmosis, it’s helpful to first understand osmosis. Osmosis is a natural process where solvent molecules (usually water) move from an area of lower solute concentration to an area of higher solute concentration through a semipermeable membrane, to equalize the concentration on both sides of the membrane.

In reverse osmosis, this natural process is reversed by applying external pressure to the side of the membrane with the higher solute concentration. This pressure forces the solvent molecules (water) to move from the side of higher concentration (the contaminated water) to the side of lower concentration (the purified water), effectively “reversing” the direction of osmosis.

As the pressurized water passes through the semipermeable membrane, contaminants such as dissolved solids, ions, bacteria, viruses, and other impurities are unable to pass through the membrane and are effectively trapped and removed. Only pure water molecules can permeate through the membrane, resulting in purified water on the other side.

During the reverse osmosis process, two streams are created: purified water (permeate) and concentrated wastewater (brine). The purified water is collected for use, while the wastewater containing the rejected impurities is typically diverted down the drain.

The Benefits of the Microline R.O. System

Crisp Clean Water

The Microline R.O. system utilizes advanced reverse osmosis technology to remove a wide range of contaminants from water, including chlorine, lead, arsenic, fluoride, and more. The technology also eliminates contaminants that can affect the taste and odor of water, the Microline R.O. system can deliver water that is crisp, clean, and refreshing.

Directly From Your Tap

With the Microline R.O. system, there's no need to rely on bottled water or bulky filtration pitchers. You can enjoy purified water directly from your tap whenever you need it, saving you time, money, and hassle.

Sustainable Choice

By choosing the Microline R.O. system, you’re making a sustainable choice for the planet. You can reduce plastic waste associated with bottled water consumption and lessen your environmental footprint with an eco-friendly filtration system.

Long-Term Cost Savings

While the initial investment in a Microline R.O. system may seem significant, it can lead to long-term cost savings compared to purchasing bottled water or using alternative filtration methods. With proper maintenance, Microline R.O. systems can provide years of reliable service, offering excellent value for your investment.
